Strategy:

The Armored Guard is a unit in Ash's army with exceptionally high health. He is based off of knights of the middle age, with presumably thicker armor than normal.

While the Armored Guard does have a sword attack with a normal amount of damage, the slow attack speed ensures the Armored Guard's DPS remains low. He makes up for his low DPS with his high health; a maxed Armored Guard has over triple Ash's health and can withstand several attacks from Evil Ash. This enables him to form a very effective wall for more fragile troops such as Spearmen, Horsemen, and the Wiseman, as he can withstand far more damage than Swordsmen can.

While massed Armored Guards can fight effectively on their own, it is far more effective to support them with high damage troops such as Spearmen rather than rely only on Armored Guards, as this combination can clear enemy waves faster, with a lower cost, and with fewer casulaties.


Notes

  • The Armored Guard has the highest health for a non-Unique unit.
